Updated: Jan 4, 2021

Deviled Eggs are something that seem to only come out around special occasions or holidays. After you try our version of them, you may find yourself making them more often as they are a high protein snack that is low in carbs and high on flavor! We've been cooking our Boiled Eggs in our Instant Pot. It is so easy and they come out perfect every time!

Process

Boil eggs. We used the Instant Pot with the 5-5-5-5 method.

  1. 1 cup of water in the bottom with the metal rack placed inside and eggs on top of that.

  2. Seal top and be sure release valve is closed.

  3. Set to manual high pressure for 5 minutes (will take about 5 minutes to come to pressure).

  4. When timer beeps that it is done, press cancel and let manually release for 5 minutes.

  5. After 5 minutes, quick release remaining pressure and remove eggs and place in a bowl of ice water for 5 minutes.

  6. While eggs are cooling get your mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, cider vinegar and bacon into small mixing bowl.

  7. After 5 minutes, remove eggs and peel being sure to remove all the shell pieces.

  8. Cut eggs in half longways and scoop out the yolk and place into bowl with other ingredients.

  9. Mix thoroughly. It will be pretty smooth.

  10. Fill egg white halves with mixture and the garnish with the Quad!

  11. Enjoy!
